In March 2020, we were invited to collaborate on the Parkdale Please Styled Shoot featuring Shaw Photography Co. The shoot was amazing and hard to believe over a year ago. It’s hard to believe it’s a part of a pre pandemic world. Well, over a year later and we’re finally sharing some of the photos from the shoot!
The style
The attention to detail by Emily and Mark, who brought us all together by styling, planning and coordinating the shoot was outstanding. They brought together amazing vendors to create the concept for a beautiful and intimate celebration.
What was particularly special were the pops of color that came through the unique use of fruit, the floral arrangements, the desserts and the exquisite mural. If you notice, the color palette had deep reds, soft creams and some neutral touches. The tulips stand out without overpowering the rest of the bouquet. Wild Blossom Hollow did an extraordinary job.
Added touches
Halo Salon completed the model’s looks, with natural makeup that enhanced their natural features and soft skin.
In addition, we had the pleasure of shooting at Ro Homeshop and used their incredible pieces as accessories to style the shoot. Ro’s space is beautiful and filled with functional design.
Butter Block, a local bakery that does pop-up in Buffalo, combined a fresh pie and croissants to create a delicious spread.
Rust Belt Love handled the stationery with paper invitations and menus, hand-dipped in blush. Their stationery is completely custom and handmade, adding an extra personal touch for couples to share with their guests.
