When one project ends, another is just beginning! We have a new client who has a couple of ideas that we’re going to be developing with her, but first is a very 50’s styled special occasion dress for her various events and gala’s she attends. She brought me a catalog from an old high end department store for inspiration, and this is what we ended up with!
It’s a very romantic sort of subtle gown but very refined and clean. She stopped in for her fabric review and sloper fitting today…
I went to NYC (that one time I went for less than 24 hours) and found her some of the most beautiful fabrics you can imagine! She chose my top choice:
A beautiful silk blend brocade in tonal taupe that drapes like a dream!!! Can’t wait to start working on it!
