Linda brought in a dress that she has loved for years and wanted me to recreate the shape that fit her so well. So we updated it in a rust satin and the contrast fabric stripping detail across the front bodice.
The silk chiffon and charmeuse strips were cut and applied by hand, one by one and tacked in place.
We think it creates a modern yet femininely classic silhouette, appropriate for any mother-of-the!
The raw edges give it a little more texture against the smooth surface of the satin and charmeuse !
