After our last muslin fitting:
Remember that strip of bias satin about a foot up from the hem of the dress…?
Well I took it off and cut off the back of the doubled bias strip for the pleated waistband!
I attached each strip and then pleated by hand to fit around the high waist of the dress.
I then started placing the lace to show the client how it would look ! I’m absolutely in love!
Now comes the fun part…. taking apart the actual dress…. keep you posted!
