At anatomy we’re always conjuring up ways to participate in the community and give back. The number of charitable events and organizations is one of the things we love most about this city! One closest to our hearts is the Elmwood Village Association. Being a member and business operating in the Elmwood ‘hood we see the impact of the EVA on a daily basis. For instance right now I’m looking out my window and can see a hanging basket overflowing with magenta annuals! From the aesthetically necessary to the socially necessary, the EVA is responsible for bringing the neighborhood together for so many great causes. One of which happens every Tuesday until August in Bidwell Park! It’s a free (…. yes, I said free!) concert series starting at 6:30 pm right in the park. You can bring blankets and chairs, pack your own picnic and sit and enjoy the local people and music.
We wanted to help out this summer, and let’s be honest – get out of the shop and into the summer sun to enjoy the neighborhood offerings! So this Tuesday the 19th we will be sharing the stage with local gypsy jazz band Babik! Babik’s music is the perfect sound to relax to – or get down to!
anatomy will start the night off right with a viewing of our most favorite summer pieces in a somewhat less than conventional catwalk format! After enjoying the music for a while, during intermission, the anatomy models will be walking around accepting donations for the organization that made the entire event possible: Elmwood Village Association!
So come bask in the sun and the great offerings that the Elmwood neighborhood offers; shopping, dining, entertainment, and local flair!
