As a high school teacher, I’m particularly pumped about tonight’s Project Educate Fashion Show. It’s stuff like this that keeps me optimistic about the next generation. They really do have vision, creativity, and, when given a podium, a voice that resonates. Tonight, girls from Nardin Academy, Buffalo Seminary, Holy Angels Academy, and Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart are coming together to produce a fundraiser and fashion show that will benefit girls’ schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Ali tells me this special group of girls have been working their tails off to make the event successful and fun. I can’t wait. I hope you’ll consider coming out to Harry’s Harbour Place tonight to support this fantastic endeavor and see the anatomy fall 2010 line on the runway one last time.
See you there!
