There are so many other art forms I wish I could do, and quilling has always been high up on my list. Have you ever seen anything like these?! Each shape, line, or squiggle is formed with a strip of paper less than 1/4" wide using various quilling tools. If there are any quillers out there reading this - kudos. And I'd love to have some quilled art work in anatomy!!!
This weekend I went to the Buff State Senior Designer Fashion show at the Pierce-Arrow Building on Elmwood.
WOW! Was I impressed. The space was amazing and edgy, and there was so much excitement in the air! There was art on display and a special photo booth set up by New Era! I got to sit back in the VIP lounge (swanky, huh??) and watch all of the excitement unfold!
With all of this wedding buzz in the air (no I'm not getting married - Oy vey, right?!) I wanted to share these pictures from the wedding of a very good friend of mine.
Ladies, I've got to hand it to you. When you raided the modern American workplace back in the '80s, you did it with a certain...swagger. Nothing says, "We can do stuff, too!" like linebacker shoulders and a color-coordinated suede hat/pump/handbag/gloves combo. I say "you" because I was still rocking stirrups and scrunchies back then. I had nothing to do with your shoulder pads.
