Made to Measure Collection

Stephanie's Wedding Gown

Last week our latest bride said "I do!" She celebrated her wedding right here in the hotel!
Stephanie fell in love with the simplicity and elegance of our "Stella" silhouette, so we made a few modifications to make it unique for her and voila!

A Historic Reconstruction

On March 3rd, the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society held it's first annual "Something Old, Something New" exhibit. The event was a "pop-up" styled exhibit lasting only one Sunday afternoon with antique wedding gowns on display, a famous retired photographer guest speaker and refreshments!

Lux Brocade Dinner Coat

We created this beautifully simple coat for a client after she came to us with inspiration from a vintage piece and the desire to make it her own! The fabric is a beautiful silk blend brocade from Carolina Herrera. The dark navy and dusty gold are the perfect colors to add drama and excitement to a dreary cold season here in Buffalo!

Anne's Wedding Photos

We finally have em! Pictures from Anne's gorgeous country wedding wearing the wedding gown that I reconstructed! She looks so perfect! Right?!

Cause for Mass Appeal 2012

Here are some images from the fashion show Mass Appeal this past November! It's one of our favorite must-see events, and it holds a special place in our heart here at anatomy for being the first event we debuted our collection at in 2010! xoxo mama Habes xoxo
These gowns are on display in our showroom, and are perfect for a laid back bride, or just to have a perfect little black dress on hand. All made to measure in the color of your choice.

The New Buffalo Bride

Meeting other young creatives in Buffalo is always inspiring, however when Erica and Ali met to talk business they left with some pretty big ideas! The first being this gorgeous photo shoot, showcasing (what they have rightfully dubbed) the New Buffalo Bride. Who is the "New Buffalo Bride?" A woman who appreciates quality, locality, and above all individuality. A bride who wants to ensure her wedding day is truly as unique as she and her love are. And, let's be real, get chosen to be featured on "Style Me Pretty" real weddings.

Bride on a Halloween Eve

There was a big party at the Hotel on Halloween last month and we were asked to create a jaw-dropping wedding piece for the event.

Updating Katie's Tunic Dress

Katie bought this dress because of it's stylish, casual comfort and versatility. It's 100% silk and easy to wear to just about anything, but she felt it was a little drab and wanted to spruce it up.

Garment restoration for a local artist

Our dear friend Alix came to me with this gorgeous estate sale find: a head to toe embellished sheath dress dating back to most likely the late 1930's. JEALOUS. The entire dress is beaded on one layer of tulle, so it came with a few holes and tears. Not to mention a mysterious splotch of something along the sequins on the hem to mend! We fixed her all up and made a simple silk slip dress to go underneath for her art opening this weekend at the East Aurora Fall Art Walk!

black lace and pink silk

"Mother-of-the" place card settings won't hold these ladies back at their families' weddings! Beautiful black lace over soft pink silk is such a beautiful and timeless combination, and in these stunning silhouettes these two ladies might up-stage the bride :)
