Love is in the air

Oddly enough, love smells like a bakery...

We know you love Yonder Star Candles. Well we have some delicious new scents like Maple Apple Bourbon and Bewitched!

Professional and unpredictable!

OK, OK so everyone take a little stab at the 100% silk dupioni bra tops that we have in the shop. Esp in this weather.. I get it. But this little piece of perfectly positioned silk can totally make an outfit!

Coordinating the 100% Woolrich wool grey herringbone scalloped blazer and pencil skirt with the hot pink bra top gives the matching suit a reason to stand out! Pair it with a slightly tonally off silk scarf and you're set to go.

Fashion Illustrations

This is Fifi Lapin. A trend-setting bunny!

January Windows

We selected some of our favorite items to be highlighted in our windows in the cutest way!

Jeffrey constructed these picture frames out of old boxes! Then I added a little texture to them : )

Selvedge Solutions

Sewing pros and novices alike know that the selvedge (or self-edge) is always unused. It is there to prevent the fabric from fraying and act as sort of a border as the fabric is being woven (or knit!).  So what to do with the left overs...?

Branching out

An untraditionally traditional California wedding

With all of this wedding buzz in the air (no I'm not getting married - Oy vey, right?!) I wanted to share these pictures from the wedding of a very good friend of mine.

Brides World, Jan 9th 2011

Anatomy participated in our first trade show this past weekend, Brides World! It was at the convention center on Sunday and boy was it fun!! We met so many new people and some old friends were there as well!!

Creating Spring (in the slush)

When we were able to drive into the city on Tuesday morning we were slightly surprised to still see side streets unplowed and taxis and cars left abandoned. I mean, seriously NYC!?
